The Valley Regional Warriors smashed the host St. Paul Catholic Falcons soccer squad by a margin of 7-3 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland for a Shoreline game on Thursday, September 21. Valley Regional will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-0.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Crusaders go into the Naugatuck Valley game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Holy Cross Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 1-1, in a league game.
