The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ) and the visiting Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ), saw Eastmark's volleyball squad beat Peoria by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Eastmark upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Firebirds host Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ) to play the Coyotes in a bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Combs lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ)

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Agua Fria for a bout on Tuesday, October 3.
