The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), saw Pinecrest's volleyball squad beat South View by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Green Hope lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Middle Creek (Apex, NC)

The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Seventy-First for a non-league bout on Friday, September 22. South View will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-8.
