Next, the Maroons confront the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Champaign Central will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Sages enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 10-2 league loss to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL).

The Sabers now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23. St. Thomas More will confront a Bullets team coming off a 10-0 league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Bullets record now stands at 9-3.
