    September 20, 2023: Speedway, IN 46224

    Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

    Next, the Sparkplugs confront the Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN) in a Indiana Crossroads challenge, on Monday, September 25. Speedway will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 6-0 league loss to Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN).

    The Bears now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Vernon for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Lawrence Central will confront a Marauders team coming off a 1-1 league Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Marauders record now stands at 8-4.
