The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) and the visiting Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), saw Bryant's volleyball squad beat Murphy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Bryant upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Hurricanes host Saraland (Saraland, AL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Saraland won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Satsuma (Satsuma, AL)

The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Theodore for a 6A Area 1 bout on Thursday, September 21.
