The Cheney RVT Beavers topped the host University Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Beavers now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prince RVT for a Connecticut Technical test on Friday, September 22. Cheney RVT will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 league win over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-0.
The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Bulkeley was knocked off by Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT), 3-2, in a league test.
