The Destrehan Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting John Ehret Patriots to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Jefferson for a non-league game on Thursday, September 21. Destrehan will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-11.
The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Fisher gained a win over Lutheran (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
