The Orono Spartans volleyball team (Long Lake, MN), was nudged 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN)

The Jaguars (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Prior Lake was nudged by Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Orono will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN).
