California High School Football - Trona sneaks past Academy of Careers & Exploration

September 20, 2024: Trona, CA 93562

The Trona Tornadoes football squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle to 12 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tornadoes now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Frazier Mountain for a Hi-Lo (8 Man) test on Saturday, September 28. Trona will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 50-0 league win over Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Academy of Careers & Exploration drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagle host United Christian Academy (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-4. United Christian Academy lost 28-22 in their recent non-league test against Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA)
