In Friday's league match, the host Airport Eagles football squad scored a good 34-16 triumph over the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their match against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the AAAA Region 4 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, South Aiken was beaten by Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 34-27, in a league match.
