Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM), 50-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Magdalena improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Steers travel to Animas (Animas, NM) to play the Panthers in a 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Animas lost 52-6 in their recent league battle against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM)
