In Friday's league game, the Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA) football team overcame the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), by a tally of 33-14.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) in a Laurel Highlands game, on Friday, September 27. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 34-13 league win over Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA).

The Mountaineers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Blue Devils enter the Laurel Highlands game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Bellwood-Antis notched a victory over Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 28-21, in a league game.
