The Bark River-Harris Broncos walloped the host Gwinn Modeltowners football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Broncos face the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a Western Peninsula - Iron challenge, on Friday, September 27. Bark River-Harris will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Emeralds enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 43-8 league win over L'Anse (L'Anse, MI).

The Modeltowners (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons enter the Western Peninsula - Iron challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, West Iron County was ripped by Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI), 49-12, in a league challenge.
