Oklahoma High School Football - Nowata thwarted by Barnsdall

Barnsdall Panthers (Barnsdall, OK) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK), 44-34 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Barnsdall improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fairland (Fairland, OK) to play the Owls in a A-II District 4 battle on Friday, September 27. The Owls go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Fairland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK)

The Ironmen now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Caney Valley for a A-I District 3 battle on Friday, September 27. Nowata will play a Trojans team coming off a 36-0 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
