Kansas High School Football - Girard wallops Baxter Springs

September 20, 2024: Baxter Springs, KS 66713

The Girard Trojans football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Baxter Springs Lions to 3 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontenac for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee test on Friday, September 27. Girard will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 47-8 league win over Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Baxter Springs drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Parsons (Parsons, KS) to clash with the Vikings in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee test on Friday, September 27. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-3. Parsons lost 45-8 in their recent non-league test against Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS)
