Mississippi High School Football - Pillow Academy loses to Bayou Academy

The Pillow Academy Mustangs football team (Greenwood, MS), was topped 41-16 in Friday's league bout with the host Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS)

With the win, Bayou Academy advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS) to encounter the Chiefs in a MAIS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, September 27. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Magnolia Heights won 35-0 in their recent non-league bout against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)

The Mustangs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Starkville Academy for a MAIS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, September 27. Pillow Academy will encounter a Volunteers team coming off a 58-7 non-league loss to Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS). The Volunteers record now stands at 2-4.
