The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Dorchester Academy Raiders (St. George, SC) and the visiting Beaufort Academy Eagles (Beaufort, SC), witnessed Dorchester Academy's football squad knock off Beaufort Academy by a tally of 16-6.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC). The Bobcats come into the SCISA 1A Region I outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Carolina Academy achieved victory over St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC), 62-33, in a non-league outing.

With the defeat, Beaufort Academy drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC) to clash with the War Hawks in a SCISA 1A Region II outing on Friday, September 27. The War Hawks come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Colleton Prep Academy won 26-0 in their recent non-league outing against Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC)
