Ohio High School Football - Bishop Watterson wallops Chardon

September 20, 2024: Chardon, OH 44024

The Bishop Watterson Eagles football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Chardon Hilltoppers to 9 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Hartley for a Central Catholic test on Friday, September 27. Bishop Watterson will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Chardon drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to meet the Bombers in a Western Reserve test on Friday, September 27. The Bombers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Kenston lost 34-20 in their recent non-league test against Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH)
