The Golden Knights now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sherman for a Coalfield A test on Friday, September 27. Mount View will meet a Tide squad coming off a 34-20 non-league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Tide record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Bland County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-3.
