Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Bogalusa Lumberjacks (Bogalusa, LA), 50-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Salmen advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Liberty Magnet lost 28-6 in their recent non-league battle against Lutcher (Lutcher, LA)

The Lumberjacks now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Magnet for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4.
