St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), 56-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Johnsbury Academy advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to play the Redhawks in a League 1 battle on Saturday, September 28. The Redhawks go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Champlain Valley Union won 52-0 in their recent league battle against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)

The Bears now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Middlebury for a League 2 battle on Friday, September 27. Brattleboro will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 21-7 league win over Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
