The Buckingham Knights walloped the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos football team by a score of 35-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River challenge, on Friday, September 27. Buckingham will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA).

The Flying Flucos (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the Jefferson challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Charlottesville was ripped by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 52-0, in a non-league challenge.
