South Carolina High School Football - Buford edged by Great Falls

The Great Falls Red Devils edged the visiting Buford Yellowjackets football team by a score of 22-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Lee Central Stallions (Bishopville, SC) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Great Falls will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 42-7 non-league win over Hardeeville (Hardeeville, SC).

The Yellowjackets (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Knights enter the AA Region 4 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, North Central was edged by Lamar (Lamar, SC), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.
