The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR) and the host Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR), witnessed Carlisle's football squad knock off Des Arc by a tally of 30-8.

The Bison (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles enter the 2A Region 4 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Baptist Prep gained a win over Episcopal (Little Rock, AR), 26-19, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) in a 2A Region 2 contest, on Friday, September 27. Des Arc will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 66-22 non-league win over Barton (Lexa, AR).
