In Friday's non-league match, the host Lebanon Pioneers football squad scored a decisive 46-0 triumph over the Castlewood Blue Devils.
The Pioneers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado come into the Southwest match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Richlands was routed by Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 56-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) in a Cumberland match, on Friday, September 27. Castlewood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 56-6 league win over Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA).
