The Simmons Blue Devils football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Coffeeville Pirates to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coahoma County for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Simmons will meet a Red Panthers squad coming off a 26-14 non-league win over O'Bannon (Greenville, MS). The Red Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Coffeeville drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Palmer (Marks, MS) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-3.
