Georgia High School Football - Rickards falls to Colquitt County

September 20, 2024: Norman Park, GA 31771

The Colquitt County Packers felled the visiting Rickards Raiders football team by a score of 44-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Packers face the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Colquitt County will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 35-13 non-league win over Kell (Marietta, GA).

The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Vikings go into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Fort Walton Beach toppled Leon (Tallahassee, FL), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
