In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ridgeview Ravens football squad scored a close 42-35 triumph over the Corvallis Spartans.

The Ravens (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lakers come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Lake Oswego nudged Newberg (Newberg, OR), 35-7, in a non-league bout.

The Spartans now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a non-league bout on Friday, September 27. Corvallis will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 40-22 non-league win over Cleveland (Portland, OR). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
