The Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) football were winner over the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI), 24-9 in Friday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Red outing on Friday, September 27. Dakota will clash with a Big Reds squad coming off a 35-15 league loss to Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Sterling Heights Stevenson drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Macomb Area - Red outing on Friday, September 27. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Utica Eisenhower won 30-12 in their recent league outing against Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI)
