Georgia High School Football - Pickens beat Dawson County

September 20, 2024: Dawsonville, GA 30534

The Pickens Dragons football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Dawson County Tigers to 23 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hall for a AAA Region 6 test on Friday, September 27. Pickens will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 35-21 league win over White County (Cleveland, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Dawson County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to meet the Spartans in a AAA Region 6 test on Friday, September 27. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-3. Greater Atlanta Christian won 48-0 in their recent league test against Johnson (Gainesville, GA)
