Kentucky High School Football - Dayton overwhelmed by Sayre

The Sayre Spartans walloped the host Dayton Greendevils football team by a score of 55-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Sayre will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bluejackets enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 70-19 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).

The Greendevils (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Marion County bounced Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY), 40-7, in a non-league challenge.
