Arizona High School Football - Higley tops Desert Edge

September 20, 2024: Gilbert, AZ 85297

The Higley Knights football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions to 14 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cactus Shadows for a 5A Northeast Valley test on Friday, September 27. Higley will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Desert Edge drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-2. Sunnyslope lost 59-14 in their recent non-league test against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
