The Dresden Lions felled the host Humboldt Vikings football team by a score of 44-26 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions face the Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Dresden will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 43-13 league loss to Haywood (Brownsville, TN).
The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake County (Tiptonville, TN). The Falcons go into the 1A Region 7 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Lake County lost by Halls (Halls, TN), 34-20, in a league challenge.
