The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Duxbury Dragons (Duxbury, MA) and the host Hanover Hawks (Hanover, MA), witnessed Duxbury's football squad edge Hanover by a tally of 14-7.

The Dragons (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin got by Brockton (Brockton, MA), 35-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hawks battle the Plymouth South Panthers (Plymouth, MA) in a Patriot - Fisher contest, on Friday, October 4. Hanover will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Whitman-Hanson Regional (Whitman, MA).
