The East Longmeadow Spartans football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Minnechaug Regional Falcons to 14 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tantasqua Regional for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. East Longmeadow will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 21-20 league loss to Auburn (Auburn, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Minnechaug Regional drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA) to meet the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Wachusett Regional won 31-0 in their recent non-league test against Lawrence (Lawrence, MA)
