In Friday's non-league game, the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) football team overcame the visiting Era Hornets (Era, TX), by a tally of 34-20.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) in a 2A-2 Region II District 6 game, on Friday, October 4. Electra will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record.
The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Valley View went down by Whitewright (Whitewright, TX), 56-14, in a non-league test.
