The Oscoda Owls felled the host Elk Rapids Elks football team by a score of 20-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Owls face the Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) in a Northern Michigan - Leaders challenge, on Friday, September 27. Oscoda will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Braves go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 20-14 league loss to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI).
The Elks (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Mancelona toppled Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI), 44-20, in a league challenge.
