The Essex Trojans walloped the visiting Franklin Broncos football team by a score of 64-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Essex will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Royal Tigers go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 20-19 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA).

The Broncos (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes go into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Windsor was ripped by Northampton (Eastville, VA), 32-20, in a non-league challenge.
