The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars got by the visiting Flandreau Fliers football team by a score of 20-13 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Cougars play the Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD) in a Big East challenge, on Friday, September 27. McCook Central/Montrose will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Pheasants go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD).
The Fliers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Sioux Valley for a Big East bout on Friday, October 4.
