The Frisco Raccoons edged the host Heritage Coyotes football team by a score of 27-26 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Raccoons face the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Frisco will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.

The Coyotes (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lone Star held off Centennial (Frisco, TX), 62-7, in a league challenge.
