Virginia High School Football - Radford triumphant over Galax

September 20, 2024: Galax, VA 24333

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) and the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), witnessed Radford's football squad wallop Galax by a tally of 34-0.

The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars enter the Three Rivers contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Alleghany crushed Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV), 42-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Maroon Tide confront the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a Mountain Empire contest, on Thursday, October 3. Galax will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
