Maryland High School Football - St. Mary's defeated by Gilman

September 20, 2024: Annapolis, MD 21401

The Gilman Greyhounds were victorious over the host St. Mary's Saints football team by a score of 23-3 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a MIAA A challenge, on Friday, September 27. Gilman will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 35-0 league win over Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD).

The Saints (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles enter the MIAA A challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, McDonogh ran past Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 28-7, in a league challenge.
