The Stayton Eagles walloped the host Gladstone/Riverdale football team by a score of 41-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) in a 4A Special District 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Stayton will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 50-14 non-league win over Tillamook (Tillamook, OR).
The (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crook County (Prineville, OR). The Cowboys enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Crook County bounced Molalla (Molalla, OR), 55-19, in a non-league challenge.
