Texas High School Football - Grace Community wallops New Boston

September 20, 2024: Tyler, TX 75701

The Grace Community Cougars football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting New Boston Lions to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brentwood Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 2 test on Friday, September 27. Grace Community will meet a Bears squad coming off a 54-6 non-league win over Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, New Boston drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-2. Lake Country Christian lost 48-7 in their recent non-league test against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX)
