The Purnell Swett Rams football team (Pembroke, NC), dropped 38-7 in Friday's league bout with the host Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC)

With the win, Gray's Creek advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a 3A/4A United 8 bout on Friday, September 27. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Seventy-First won 56-22 in their recent league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)
