Kentucky High School Football - Montgomery County falls to Greenup County

September 20, 2024: Greenup, KY 41144

The Greenup County Musketeers felled the visiting Montgomery County Indians football team by a score of 63-35 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Musketeers face the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Greenup County will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Tomcats go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 48-7 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KY).

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, George Rogers Clark lost by Ballard (Louisville, KY), 26-14, in a non-league challenge.
