Texas High School Football - Gunter trounces Sanger

September 20, 2024: Gunter, TX 75058

In Friday's non-league match, the host Gunter Tigers football squad scored a decisive 49-7 victory over the Sanger Indians.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A-2 Region II District 7 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Bells routed Cooper (Cooper, TX), 18-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Indians confront the Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX) in a 4A-2 Region II District 5 match, on Friday, September 27. Sanger will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 48-12 non-league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX).
