New Mexico High School Football - Mescalero Apache triumphant over Hagerman/Lake Arthur

September 20, 2024: Hagerman, NM

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM) and the host Hagerman/Lake Arthur Bobcats (Hagerman, NM), witnessed Mescalero Apache's football squad wallop Hagerman/Lake Arthur by a tally of 44-8.

The Chiefs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM). The Warriors enter the 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Gateway Christian was trounced by Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 50-48, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 27. Hagerman/Lake Arthur will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Coyotes enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 36-26 league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM).
