North Carolina High School Football - Holmes tops Manteo

September 20, 2024: Manteo, NC 27954

The Holmes Aces football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Manteo Redskins to 6 in the Aces league triumph on Friday.

The Aces now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal test on Friday, September 27. Holmes will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 66-7 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Manteo drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Redskins host First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to meet the Nighthawks in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal test on Friday, September 27. The Nighthawks come into the test with a record of 1-3. First Flight lost 66-7 in their recent league test against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
